From neighborhood restaurants and colorful characters to local history, arts, entertainment, and hidden gems, Across Pittsburgh celebrates the people, places, and experiences that make the Steel City and Western Pennsylvania worth exploring. Whether we're hitting the town with Noodles on the Loose, discovering something interesting in Yinzerville, or venturing into the wonderfully strange world of The Slippy Side, there's always another story waiting to be told.
At its heart, Across Pittsburgh is a creative passion project, not a paid promotional service. We feature places and stories that genuinely interest us, bringing a writer's curiosity, a photographer's eye, and occasionally a little cinematic swagger to the adventure. Matt is also the author of The Midas Files thriller series and the founder of Scratch Writing, where his love of storytelling extends well beyond the streets of Pittsburgh. Around here, the philosophy is simple: Good stories deserve to be told. And the story abides.
