Matt discovered an abiding interest in technology and web development at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, Institute for Software Research, where he worked as the lead technical writer for ORA (Organizational Risk Analyzer), a key part of a tool chain for dynamic network analysis. He also came to serve as the department webmaster. Other past experiences include freelance writing for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and improvisational acting. Matt holds a degree in history from Wheeling Jesuit University, where he also played Rugby and served as a sports editor of the campus paper. A Pittsburgh native, Matt, his wife, Monika, two children, Izabella and Samuel, and English Setter, Coco, call the Ross Township area of Pittsburgh home. |
